250 hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training
Hot Yoga Bologna is very excited to present Bologna’s first Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training program!
Our program will conveniently be held at our Yoga Studio, Hot Yoga Bologna, in via Rainaldi 4, Bologna.
The 250 hour Vinyasa Yoga Training begins on January 17, 2020, and will continue for 10 weekends with a final 4 day retreat in June. Please find further details below in the “training schedule”.
Our 250 hour training is recognized by Yoga Alliance Italia and Yoga Alliance International. Upon successful completion of the program, students will receive a graduation certificate that will allow you to register as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) at the 250 hour level. This certification is recognized both in Italy and Internationally.
The Hot Yoga Bologna 250 hour Vinyasa Yoga Program provides a STRONG FOUNDATION in the science of yoga for anyone who wants to enhance their knowledge of yoga and personal practice. Whether you wish to deepen your practice, or take the first step in becoming a yoga teacher, this program is for you.
Our training staff is directed by a highly qualified group of teachers who specialize in the topics they teach. Each topic is introduced progressively over a 5 month period to give you ample time to digest the material. In between the weekend modules, our staff will help you with a unique mentoring program to offer support and guidance throughout the program. In addition, Hot Yoga Bologna will bring world recognized International teachers to you in Bologna. Learning from more than one teacher offers you a much broader perspective and will better prepare you for teaching yoga or in your development af a personal practice.
What is Required of you
At least 6 months of regular yoga practice.
While attending the training program you will have free access to all classes at Hot Yoga Bologna. You are encouraged to attend a minimum of 3 classes weekly. There will be weekly homework with both personal and group assignments. Some readings and practical assignments are assigned throughout to support the curriculum of each lecture and practice. You will be assigned with a mentor that will aid you in your study. Students will be expected to practice, observe and work on creating sequences as a part of the program.

Pranayama, meditation and mantras
Asana: principles of alignment, modification, adjustments and student assistance
Use of props (blocks, bolsters, belts)
Class planning and sequence formation
Asana demonstration and sequencing through direct teaching
Communications and language techniques (verbal articulation, cueing)
Development of a personal practice
injury prevention
Yoga Philosophy, literature (study of the texts Yoga Sutras di Patanjali, Bhagavad Gita) and Sanskrit terminology
Principles of Anatomy and functional movement
Ethics : Responsibility of the teacher of yoga
