The entire weekend seminar costs 210 euros, but you may also attend any individual seminar independently for 45 euros a seminar.

12 Ottobre, Venerdì 18.30-20.00 Beginner to Intermediate Jared McCann Vinyasa Yoga Master Class. All levels welcome.
This is Jared’s signature open level vinyasa class. Jared McCann Vinyasa classes aim to break attachments, create energy, vitality, and purify both mind and body. Breathing becomes a meditation and is utilized to create space from the inside out. Jared’s class blends many styles of yoga including Ashtanga, Bikram, Iyengar, Forrest, and Dharma yoga. JM Vinyasa bridges gaps in yoga traditions, and creates a practice that is modern, accessible, and allows practitioners to learn from all styles. Every class includes standing postures, hip openers, backbends, forward bends, twists, and inversions. Classes can also include mantra, pranayama, kriya or meditation. All levels are welcome.
13 Ottobre Sabato 11.00-13.30 Workshop: Inversions + Arm Balances. All levels welcome.
This workshop begins with a fun and challenging vinyasa sequence and transitions into a breakdown of different arm balances and inversion postures. The overall concept of Bandhas (energy locks) will be explained but we will focus primarily on Amsa Bandha – the shoulder lock, and Hasta Bandha – the hand lock. Students will first practice incorporating the locks in easier arm balance variations and then will have the option to apply them to more difficult asanas.
Inversions help to recirculate lymphatic and spinal fluid resulting in mental clarity and reduced anxiety. Arm balances encourage students to connect to their strength and overcome fear. Inversion postures develop muscular strength, and allow for increased blood flow to the brain. A variety of fun arm balancing transitions will be part of the workshop, and are designed to support and strengthen the entire body.
Sabato 14.30-17.00: Workshop: Backbending + Pranayama. All levels welcome.
This 2.5hr workshop focuses on backbending techniques designed to heal, open, and strengthen your entire spine paired with pranayama that will help in opening the front side body. Jared has developed a special sequence of postures that allows students to better understand and open their spine and gain awareness of their breath throughout the practice.
The workshop begins with a strong vinyasa sequence that includes abdominal exercises, standing postures, and inversions. After the warm up, we will flow into basic backbending postures with an interactive lecture focusing on alignment. The lecture will focus on the lower, middle, upper, and neck spine. Jared will teach students to use all aspects of their spine so that students feel confident and safe in their backbending practice. The workshop ends with exercises that unwind the spine, savasana, and meditation.
This class is designed for all levels. Beginners are welcome!
Backbending is a healing practice. The compression of vertebral discs hydrates and brings nutrients to the spine, allowing practitioners to keep their spine healthy as they age. Backbending balances the nervous system and opens the front of the body, generating energy and emotional awareness.
14 Ottobre Domenica 11.00-13.30 Workshop Master class: Bikram 26 +2. All levels welcome.
Bikram Yoga is a specially developed series of 26 hatha yoga postures and 2 breathing exercises. This seminar will be longer than a normal class (2.5 hours) with slightly less heat, in order to explain more details of the practice that aren’t normally covered in a Bikram class of 90 minutes. The seminar is perfect if you want to deepen and stimulate your practice.
If you are not familiar with the series, Bikram yoga is practiced in a room heated to 39°C. It is a healing practice that facilitates the recovery and rejuvenation of the human body, helps to cure chronic diseases and various injuries. On the physical level yoga expands flexibility, strength and balance. On the mental level it encourages raising self-confidence, develops self-control, improves concentration skills, evolves determination and assists in stress management. The hot and humid air warms up one’s body, so greater flexibility is attained, it is easier to perform stretching and the risk of getting injured is considerably eliminated. Profuse sweating helps to clean the body of toxins.
Domenica 14.30-16.30 Grounding with Standing Poses, Hips + Mantra. All levels welcome.
Connect to your feet, connect to your breath, and be with your awareness. In this 2 hour workshop, we will energize the body by focusing on standing balancing poses like standing bow, standing head to knee, as well as warrior 1, 2 and 3 by working from the ground up. We will then bring the energy down to the hips by practicing baddha konasana, straddle splits and leg being the head. Mantra and pranayama will be used to ground, open and release.

24 LUGLIO 2018 PARTY DI CHIUSURA + CLASSE DI VINYASA
L’ultimo giorno in cui siamo aperti è il 25 luglio, così abbiamo pensato di fare cosa gradita organizzando un classe+party a villa Ghigi per salutarci prima della chiusura estiva
Il 24 luglio ci sarà una classe di Vinyasa flow dalle 19.00 alle 20.00 seguita da un apericena
Vi preghiamo di iscrivervi all’evento in modo da sapere più o meno quante persone ci saranno e poterci regolare per il rinfresco.
L’evento è aperto a tutte le persone iscritte presso Hot Yoga Bologna e l’unico modo di iscriversi è attraverso l’applicazione Sportclubby, per chi non l’avesse è molto semplice da scaricare.
Consiglio a tutti di lasciare i vostri mezzi presso il parcheggio di villa Ghigi alta in cima a via dell’Osservanza.
